Accomplished retired military Officer, project manager and Naval Warfare specialist with 26 years of distinguished service in the Canadian Armed Forces. Specialized experience and knowledge in the fields of Naval Warfare, Naval training systems and military simulations systems. Greg has conducted national and international operations in Canadian warships, including submarines, frigates and destroyers and has been involved in tactical, operational and strategic level planning in joint operations and exercises involving air, land and sea assets. Greg has led tactics and team training staff in delivery of training of individual Warfare training and delivery of collective mission rehearsal training to Naval units preparing to deploy on operations. Management of Naval Warfare simulators and trainers, Naval simulation systems with integrated Command and Control (C2) and Tactical Data Link (TDL) systems and analysing / developing Naval combat effective training capabilities in LVC environment through use of emerging simulation technologies. Greg has extensive experience in CF training systems; Naval Warfare tactics & procedures, oceanography, underwater acoustics and SONAR theory, production of exercise scenarios and supporting documentation, complex exercise control, writing training strategies and governance documentation.

He also holds a Masters of Business Administration (MBA) from Athabasca University -2010 and attended Joint Command and Staff College (Canadian Forces) -2010.  




A retired senior military Officer, having served in the Royal Navy for 26 years, Tim is a reliable and versatile Warfare specialist who has actively served in RN and allies’ frigates and aircraft carriers, conducting roles including Fleet Anti-Submarine Warfare Officer, Group Warfare Officer and Battlestaff Officer. He has planned at the tactical, operational and strategic level conducting numerous National and International exercises and front-line operations, including active duty in the Former Yugoslavia, Northern Ireland, the Falkland Islands, Sierra Leone, the Gulf of Arabia and Libya. An accomplished and confident operator, his areas of expertise include the development of Naval training scenarios and capabilities and the effective planning to ensure success both in the exercise arena and real-world operations. Having now established the RCN’s Synthetic Training capability, he has broadened his skill set to include Live, Virtual and Constructive training and has considerable experience in the management and control of simulation systems and the conduct and delivery of Naval Training exercises and Mission Planning.   




Ron retired as Maintenance and Technical Support Officer after more than thirty years with the Department of National Defense. For the last fifteen years of his service, he fulfilled the role of senior technologist as the local technical authority for the Naval simulators and trainers at the Naval Operations School where the assets under his care exceeded $100M.  Ron's extensive experience with Red Systems span all aspects of planning, design, development and documentation necessary to meet the needs of today's security standards. On joining our team, Ron has taken a leadership role in the development of security documentation for Fleet Sim Training Solutions and has established a proven track record of success with the Government of Canada's Security Accreditation and Authorization processes.

Steve is a technology professional with over 30 years of experience in the design and delivery of IT solutions. He performed eight years of systems analysis and development work before progressing into project lead and senior management roles. He has held the Project Management Professional designation (PMP) since 1999. Steve has proven experience maximizing multi-disciplined teams in all aspects of system integration and development from requirements gathering, risk and resource management, conceptual solutions, security considerations, architecture development and code builds. Steve has also lead IT vendor evaluations, process improvement initiatives, DevOps capability, Testing and IT Systems Development Life Cycle specialist teams for a large Telco. In his spare time Steve is heavily involved in the Rugby Community as Head Coach of the Halifax Tars RFC Men's program and CP Allen H.S. Boys team.




Doug is an IT professional with 20 years' experience, 10 years dedicated to Project Management implementing for multiple sized clients focused on delivery and operations. A strong communicator, he has provided leadership both to project teams and customers and maintained strong relationships with a variety of stakeholders. He is a results-oriented manager of teams, having delivered key infrastructure and support while managing the vendors through the software development lifecycle. He has worked within the DND environment for over 5 years and, therefore, understands the military application of IT systems and the unique field of operations. Doug is a team leader who is always focused on exceeding the customer's expectations and delivering quality results on budget and schedule.

Multi-skilled in a range of software platforms and applications, she is an experienced programmer who has specialized in the interface development of speech recognition tools. This has led to the progression of educational language learning and, in particular, interface interaction. Possessing a Unity background, she has worked on a number of interfaces for high-profile gaming devices and now turns her attention to developing the military technological environment.
